Old file folders of the Atlanta brand
Gouache
Size 48 x 31,5 cm / 48 x 35 cm

The old file folders feature printed grids meant to be utilised as a format. This system provides grip but also demands liberation. For this purpose, colour, rhythm and chance are used to turn the official frameworks into music. The tubes of gouache are leftovers from another artist, and the colours are put into the folder at random without personal, intuitive or rational interference. My role as maker consists of determining the moment to stop the actions. However, the works are never finished and can always be changed again. They are proposals.
